CourseStack respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects instructors and learners to do the same. Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. §512, we have adopted the following policy.

2. Notice of Claimed Infringement
To file a notice, you must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner (or agent);
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed;
- Exact URL(s) or other location information for the allegedly infringing material;
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, e-mail);
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Incomplete notices may be ignored.

3. Counter-Notice
If you believe content was removed by mistake, you may send a written counter-notice that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and its former location;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, phone, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. federal court for your district (or any district in which Coursestack may be found) and will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Upon receipt we will forward your counter-notice to the original claimant. Unless the claimant files suit within ten (10) business days, we will restore the material.
4. Repeat-Infringer Policy
Coursestack terminates, in appropriate circumstances, accounts that receive multiple valid DMCA notices.
5. Misrepresentation
Submitting a false notice or counter-notice may subject you to damages under §512(f).
